If any of you are in the NYC area this summer--or can be--you should totally go to rock camp! I went in 2006 (I was the guitarist for The Spectacles), and it was amazing. Aside from the unparalleled experience of forming a rock band with perfect strangers and writing and performing our own original song in three days (sounds scary, I know, but if I can do it, you can, too!), the camp is a fundraiser for girls' scholarships for Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls.
